This is the report on what has been happening with the construction of the house. Remember, you can get a daily detailed report by following the updates on Google+!  To conserve the space on the blog, you're going to have to click the read more link to get the report.

Hey, just a quick note before we start: most of what's happening right now is better seen than written, so click on the links to check the pictures out!

June 11 Monday

Electrical and plumbing meeting today. Strategies and choices made for the next two? three? weeks.

June 12 Tuesday

Odds and ends day... they brought in a tub, all the back doors, and started work on the plumbing both water and gas. There wasn't a single focus that we could tell today.

June 13 Wednesday

All gas today, with the exception of the bathtub being installed into the main bathroom.

June 14 Thursday

They completed all the gas lines and finalized our water pipes final positions in the walls (some pipes were outside the walls) by pouring extra cement to fill in their work holes.

June 15 Friday

Heating and cooling guys came today, put up some ducts, stuffed a heater in our garage attic and left. We also had a meeting with a home theatre guy (I know, I spelled it the British way, but it looks cooler). We're going to have a full featured home theatre with 65" plasma screen TV, 5.1 surround sound, and lots of room to spread out! Neat, huh?

the Week in Review

Things are rolling inside, even if it looks static on the outside. We'll be stuck in this "lull" for a few weeks, but don't go away because we're still going to cover everything going on inside (heating/cooling, gas/water plumbing, data wiring (internet), and home theatre stuff (TV ports and the theatre room). After this, we'll be going back outside for the brickwork.

Remember, the blog will not be updated every weekday with pictures, you will have to go to our Google+ page to look at our daily updates. Click the banner at the top of the blog to go!

Also, visit our website to view the timeline for building our house... it provides a good overview of what to expect.

Thanks for following!
